MAC Syrup Lipstick : Overview & Swatches

MAC Syrup is the first lipstick I bought from MAC 🙂 . I had actually gone to buy See Sheer after seeing it on Rashmi but when I tried it, I thought it looked more orangey and less coral on me 😦

I wanted to pick up shade I would use more often rather than something which I would use occassionally since it was my first MAC lipstick and I didnt want something which would just lie there for most of the times. Hence after checking out many many shades, I finally got Syrup which is a very medium pink shade with slight (very slight) mauve undertone. Pink seemed like an obvious choice 🙂

It has lustre finish. No shimmer. MAC website describes this shade as cloudy pink.

Price : Rs. 990.

This is a very easy to wear shade. Nothing OTT, very much wearable to office or a casual day out.

 Has the standard vanilla fragrance like all MAC lipsticks which I love.

The lipstick is very moisturizing and does not dry out my lips at all. It does not accentuate fine lines of my lips.

      finally?? haha I didnt knw u wanted to c the swatches…i wud have put it up much earlier 🙂

    Thanks HD!! Its a pretty shade..I guess its quite close to Cosmo. I’ve only tried Cosmo from MAC. will try this also if I’m buying a MAC lipstick.

      umm…Cosmo is more of dusty rose kind of a color…so its quite different actually from Cosmo…I had checked out Cosmo too whn I bght this 🙂
